Menopause Natural Solutions Podcast
Welcome
I am Mary, and I help mid-life women who are feeling stressed, exhausted and overwhelmed with menopause-related symptoms to take back control of their health & wellbeing so they can enjoy life again and embrace their future.

Many women find their 40's and 50's a difficult time of life, with a combination of significant hormonal changes, getting to grips with moving on from the reproductive to a new stage of life, and maybe other concerns such as health conditions, 'empty nest' syndrome or family breakups and ageing parents.  The menopause is often a scary or even closed subject, and older women are regularly portrayed as 'over the hill'.

Modern medicine usually only offers HRT or antidepressants, both of which can help control some of the symptoms, but neither of which acknowledge the transformation a woman is going through, nor do they address the root causes.

No wonder so many women struggle, and not knowing where to turn to for help, they will often suffer in silence for many years.
Is this your mid-life journey?

It is estimated that 70-80% of women in Western cultures suffer from hot flushes and night sweats.  Other common symptoms include brain fog, mood swings, irritability, anxiety, increased stress levels, low self-esteem, exhaustion, sleep problems, weight gain and  lack of libido to name a few.

If you are one of the majority of women who can associate with one or more of these symptoms, it's important to know that the menopause is not an 'illness' - it is a natural stage of life.  Sadly modern lifestyle has such an impact on our bodies, that when we reach this more vulnerable stage of our life, we often don't have the resources and resilience to transition problem-free physically, emotionally and spiritually.

How can I help?
I believe that if we work with our body and our mind that we have the capacity to find a path that is healing, liberating and positive.

Understanding what is really happening to us as we move on from our child-bearing years and learning to live more in tune with our biology both have a massive impact on how we cope.

I will work with you to enable you to gain the knowledge, skills and support you need to manage your symptoms - developing calm, peace, joy & positivity; energy, clarity of mind, memory & concentration in your day-to-day tasks; positive acceptance of life lived so far and confidence about your future.

I will explore various lifestyle options, including using essential oils which I find fantastic for supporting our health and wellbeing.  For more information see my Essential Oils page.

What’s my approach?
Wellbeing should be a foundation for life – not just helping to avoid disease, but also providing the energy, vitality and mental strength to live an enjoyable and rewarding everyday life guilt-free.

When I work with you, I will help you regain that motivation by enabling you to develop a personalised plan that's achievable for you.

It’s not about creating rules, or telling you what you should or shouldn’t do, it’s about you exploring what is right for you. There is no ‘one size fits all’ - no 'right' food and lifestyle habits.

When you have the relevant knowledge and skills, then you will be empowered to make informed choices.  It’s not about being perfect, but regaining control and understanding the impact of the choices you make.

I am non-judgemental, impartial and open-minded, and my services are always confidential.

To find out more about my approach, see my About page and Testimonials here.
